Yahnundasis means "Around the Hill"
A select group of community leaders sought to build a private golf club that would provide a few hours of tranquility; an escape from the world.
A 6,765 yard championship layout was designed by famed architect Walter J. Travis. Travis was also the 1900, 1901 and 1903 U.S. Amateur Golf Champion, and the 1904 British Amateur Champion. He knew his game and his terrain, and conscientiously carved a magnificent golf course into the natural environment.
